BuzzScreen SDK FAQ

General FAQ

Device resources

We have several years of experience in Lockscreen SDK optimization. Battery consumption is optimized and we already passed a strict screening process of the major Korean companies.

By test run on Galaxy S6 in 2016:

  • When unlocked 100 times a day, BuzzScreen consumes 0.28% (7mAh - when the maximum capacity of battery is 2,500mAh) more than using the default Android System Lockscreen

  • When unlocked 100 times a day, BuzzScreen consumes 2.4% (62mAh - when the maximum capacity of battery is 2,500mAh) more than not using any lockscreen.

  • Avg : 0.6MB/day

  • Max : 12MB/day - only in case when users see the lockscreen 60 times a day

    • one image : 100KB

BuzzScreen caches up to the first and second images and cache when users scroll.
